Lidiya Georgieva is a Parisian designer of Macedonian origin. After having graduated from the Academy of Visual Arts in Skopje she entered the famous Parisian fashion school Duperré as a fellowship holder of the French government. During her studies she was awarded the European Award for young designers and soon after she begun to work as a designer for Pierre Balmain and Rochas, where she designed a new line and five collections. Experience and work in luxurious couture companies left the mark on her later collections. The very strong influence on her work was left by the Anglosaxons music too. Brand has been existing since 2000 and the basic concept is small series and unique items, handwork, subtle fabrics. Woven, thatched and printed models with strong graphics expression predominate. She will presente herself to us with REMIX 07 collection, which is a certain kind of mixture of fall/winter 07 and spring/summer 07 collections. Between two collections Lidiya finds time to design costumes for theater, modern ballet and movies. Since their beginnings collections of Lidiya Georgieva were presented in the designers shops in Paris, Milan, New York, Tokyo, Osaka. They have also enjoyed the support from the international press from the very beginning (Vogue, Jalouse, Neo2, Le Monde, Cosmopolitan, Elle, Madame Figaro etc.).
